Admin Officer - Finance, Events and Communications
Role Type Administrative Assistant/Finance Officer

The current student population is around 720, with enrolments projected to reach 900 in the next five years. Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in school systems, including CASES21 Finance and Compass.

Role
The Administration role is based in the main office and reception area and undertakes a variety of support roles under the direction of the Business Manager.
The position requires an enthusiastic person with excellent social and organisational skills who can perform a range of administration functions independently. The successful applicant will be responsible for accounts receivable and events, school communications, and general office duties. You will work in the main office with 3 full-time admin staff.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
Proficiently use all aspects CASES21 accounts receivable
Invoice families for school fees, events, excursions, and camps in CASES21 and Compass
Manage Compasspay and process receipts in CASES21 daily
Ensure that all cash and EFTPOS are receipted correctly and balanced at the end of each day
Produce, interpret, and analyse financial reports, including family transaction history and matching transaction reports and family statements
Process CSEF applications and monitor student funding balances
Complete Financial Summary/Profit and Loss for camps and excursions and fundraising
Respond to enquiries from school staff and parents regarding accounts receivable matters
Events
Support staff with compass events; oversee and approve events, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Oversee and manage events via SAL, ensuring all events are loaded to SAL as required from DE
Manage and organise activities for the Chase Basketball Academy
Plan and organise the End of Year staff celebration
Add school events to Trybooking and manage tickets and relevant reports
Communications
Website updates and upload photos/info to TV in reception
Draft, edit, and finalise the yearbook preparation with the principal class
Draft, edit, and finalise the newsletter for publication three times per term
General Administration
Provide routine administrative support
Attend to student enquiries
Perform reception duties, including screening visitors to the school, answering phones, and liaising with parents
Provide first aid to students and staff when required
Enter arrival/departure times for students on Compass
Perform Compass password resets for parents and students
Undertake additional duties as requested by the Principal or Business Manager
