Belair Family Health Centre is a well-established clinic within the Medical First network, providing high-quality care to the local community. We are seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our clinic in Belair, South Australia.

Primary Objective
The Practice Manager is responsible for the operational management of the medical practice, under the delegated authority and direction of the Practice Principals. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the delivery of high-quality care to patients
* Ensuring a safe and hygienic standard of care
* Operating in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies
* Implementing systems to maximize workplace productivity
* Promoting public relations and marketing initiatives for the clinic
Key Accountabilities
* Human Resources: Recruit, develop, and manage non-clinical staff to ensure high performance and professional growth through leadership, team-building, task delegation, and conflict resolution.
* Financial Management: Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to support the business's operational needs.
* Operational Management: Oversee daily operations with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and future growth.
* Safety and Quality: Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
* Strategic and Business Planning: Collaborate with Practice Principals to develop and monitor clinic strategy and business objectives.
* Legislative Compliance: Ensure the practice complies with all legal and contractual obligations.
Main Organisational Interfaces
* Internal: COO, CEO, CFO, General Practitioners, Practice staff, and allied health professionals
* External: Patients, Suppliers, PHN (Primary Health Network), External allied health professionals and Specialists, International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
Qualifications/Experience Required
* A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Practice Manager in a General Practice setting
* Proven expertise in overseeing and optimizing administrative tasks and processes
* Demonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements within a clinical environment
* Certification in Practice Management is highly desirable
* A Diploma in Leadership and Management is highly desirable
