Financial Performance Manager Role
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Performance Manager to join our Retail Strategy & Finance team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of our Solar and Broadband business units.
The successful candidate will have expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. They will provide actionable insights to drive business performance and lead a team of two in coaching and developing staff while balancing stakeholder needs and ensuring strong financial control and governance.
* Timely review and presentation of financial reports into business performance for the solar and broadband business units.
* Presentation of key financial and operational reports to stakeholders, including weekly Steering Committee documents and monthly BPR with documentation advising how future business decisions might be impacted.
* Providing comprehensive analysis to support decision-making including recommending solutions for problems or situations.
* Preparation of annual solar and broadband budgets and quarterly forecast processes.
* Identify, recommend, & support the implementation of system enhancements and adherence to accounting processes and policies.
* Lead two staff with a focus on development through coaching.
* Continuous improvement of processes and results, focusing on automation and reporting tools.
* Working closely with the Solar & Energy Solutions Commercial team; support strategy development and analysis efforts of new opportunities and commercialization of existing development assets.
* Prepare presentations and written materials to communicate outputs from financial and commercial analysis.
What Qualifications Do We Require?
* CA/CPA qualified professional with demonstrated experience in a business partnering role.
* Expert analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
* Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and developing a team.
* Sound technical accounting knowledge with the ability to question and interpret results.
* Proactive in identifying problems and independently finding solutions.
* Good understanding of key controls with a focus on establishing controls in day-to-day activities.
