What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support the efficient operation of our Resource Recovery Precinct and Transfer Stations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across operations, systems, data and people, and who is motivated by continuous improvement, compliance and service excellence.
Working closely with the Resource Recovery Coordinator, this role plays a key part in improving systems, processes and performance across Council’s waste and resource recovery operations. You’ll also play a hands-on role in data management, reporting, system administration and financial support activities, helping Council optimise waste disposal and resource recovery outcomes now and into the future.
What We’re Looking For
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role or other suitable qualifications, and/or relative experience.
* Knowledge of resource recovery operations and facilities.
* Experienced with undertaking administrative processes relating to supporting budget compilation, purchasing and expenditure control.
* Ability to conduct research, analyse information and prepare quality written reports and documentation.
* Highly developed organisational skills to effectively plan, organise and coordinate a multitude of diverse and complex tasks and projects.
* Effective analytical, problem solving and investigative skills with the ability to solve complex situations.
* Computer literacy with proven experience operating MS Office suite.
* Ability to work constructively and efficiently as part of a broader team across the broader Resource Recovery Branch and building quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and commitment to continuous development and improvement of service delivery.
