About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Deckhand
on one of our top-notch vessels. If you're self-motivated and thrive in a high-performing, dynamic team, this is the job for you
Location
: Based in Margate, with work across multiple stunning sites.
Roster
: 7 days on, 7 days off
Key Responsibilities
Install and remove fish nets, mooring systems, and anchors.
Maintain leases.
Operate vessels up to 52 metres.
Load and unload supplies, generators, and compressors.
Assist with salmon growth operations.
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and vessels.
Operate deck componentry including capstans, winches, and cranes.
About You:
We're seeking a hands-on, self-motivated individual with a passion for salmon and the following attributes:
Previous deckhand experience is essential (preferably in a commercial fishing environment).
Positive, can-do attitude.
Physical fitness.
Commitment to safety.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
Right to work full-time in Australia.
Coxswains NC2 (preferred but not essential).
