The role of a Specialised Medical Professional is crucial in providing medical care, education, and training in reproductive and sexual health. This position involves working collaboratively with nursing staff to meet client needs and provide medical leadership as required.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialised medical services in sexual and reproductive health.
* Work effectively with nursing staff to meet client needs.
* Ensure clinics are conducted efficiently and timely.
* Participate in professional development, research projects, and training delivery.
Selection Criteria:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (Medical Practitioner).
* Eligibility to obtain a VR Medicare provider number for clinic location.
* FPAA Medical Practitioner certificate or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience and expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
* Awareness of key issues in supporting an effective and safe working environment, including employment equity, antidiscrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
