**Position: Mental Health Clinician | Community - Adult**
**Location: Young, NSW**

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to actively contribute to our mission of promoting mental well-being and supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
**Key Accountabilities**: As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking evidence-based therapeutic interventions with a commitment to excellence.
- Conducting daily clinical duties, including triage, assessment, care planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support consumers in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
- Providing case management services to consumers with enduring mental illness within the recovery framework, ensuring assertive linkage to local rehabilitation, support services, and other treatment services.
- Participating in collaborative care models, effectively communicating with consumers, families, carers, and other healthcare teams.
- Delivering high-quality consumer-centered and family-inclusive care in alignment with relevant legislation, National Mental Health Standards, organisational policies, and professional standards of practice.
- Providing education, health promotion, and prevention for consumers, carers, families, students, colleagues, and other interested groups to enhance understanding and knowledge about mental health.
- Modeling and participating in the organisation's commitment to consumer and carer participation in individual case assessment, planning, and service delivery.
- Accurately collating and timely completing health care information in relevant record systems, ensuring legal requirements are met, and adhering to MHOAT guidelines.
**Key Challenges**:
- Effectively managing time and prioritising tasks within the constraints of clinical demands, time, and travel.
- Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and promoting professional opinions within the team.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Relevant qualification in mental health or related field.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
