Our highly valued client is a Federal Government agency, mobilizing a large workforce to deliver a major market transformation.
**The role**
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator for an initial 12-month contract with a further 12-month extension option available.
This role can be based out of either the Melbourne or Geelong office on a flexible hybrid arrangement.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimising all new and existing network and communications systems. As an Administrator, you'll be assigned tasks, as well as assisting the broader team, leveraging your knowledge and experience to resolve issues and deliver innovations. You will be comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical people and have the right attitude towards adopting new technologies and expanding your professional knowledge. The position requires maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain the agencies Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online environments.
- Provide support on the M365 platform.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Implementation of technical change management activities.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects new ways of working.
- Investigate complex technical problems assigned to the team and engage others to assist in addressing such problems.
- Foster a positive culture within the ICT Services Branch, aligned with Agency values.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Skills and experience**:
- Demonstrated 3 years' experience with Microsoft 365 Services.
- Experience covering Infrastructure, Security & Cloud.
- Sound understanding of ITIL best practice.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
- Demonstrated high level customer service and support skills.
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
