About the Role
Greencross South Tamworth is seeking a confident and capable veterinarian for sole charge weekend and on‐call emergency work. If you are experienced and thrive in high‐impact situations, this is your chance to lead, learn, and earn – receiving 50% of all professional fees billed for out‐of‐hours emergencies.
What You'll Encounter
Weekend shifts typically involve a dynamic mix of cases including:
* Sore ears and lacerations
* Dog attacks and blocked cats
* Poisonings and snake bites
* Car accidents and other urgent presentations
You'll be supported by a qualified nurse during after‐hours shifts, ensuring you are never alone when it matters most.

Qualifications & Eligibility
Position is best suited to a veterinarian with a minimum of five years post‐graduate experience, who is confident managing a variety of emergency presentations independently. Applicants must be eligible for veterinary registration with the Veterinary Board. Strong clinical skills, sound judgment and the ability to work autonomously in a sole charge capacity are essential.
