Compassionate Nursing Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Aged Care & Disability Support Workers to join our team in Mount Isa. If you are passionate about helping people live safely and independently, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
You will provide support to clients in their homes and within the community, assisting with daily activities and ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
Duties may include:
* Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
* Assistance with daily living and routine support
* Meal preparation and light domestic duties
* Community access (shopping, appointments, outings)
* Manual handling and mobility support
* Social support and companionship
* Reporting changes in client wellbeing and completing shift notes
About You
* Caring, patient, and respectful
* Reliable and professional
* Strong communication and time management
* Able to work independently and follow care plans
* Experience in aged care/disability support is preferred
Requirements
* Driver’s licence + reliable vehicle (preferred)
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR (preferred)
* Working with Children Check (if required)
* Ability to complete shift notes / basic reporting
