We are seeking a motivated Café and Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, inspire the team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role combines hands-on management with business oversight to ensure smooth service, high standards, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
 * Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
 * Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals.
 * Monitor food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
 * Provide consultation to the Chef to plan seasonal menus.
 * Handle supplier negotiations, inventory control, and cost management.
 * Develop and implement operational policies and service procedures.
 * Address customer queries, feedback, and complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
 * Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and meeting KPIs.
 * Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
 * Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Qualifications in hospitality management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
 * Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant/café/hospitality management.
 * Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong financial acumen and knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
 * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
 * Strong knowledge of industry best practices, food safety regulations, and WHS standards.
 * Experience with rostering software, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
Salary
Salary: $76,515 - $80,000
