About Our Client
Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards.
About The Role
They are currently seeking a Customer Service Officer (CSO) to be based out of their Kunda Park factory. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday Friday, from 6:30am to 2:30pm and be responsible for the following duties;
Manage the customer experience from quoting through to delivery with a high attention to detail and level of professionalism that will generate repeat and ongoing business.
Coordinate transport requirements with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficiencies are met and delivery occurs on time and in full every time.
Manage the internal sales database with accurate information entered and maintained in a timely manner.
Manage the accounts process to allow for first class reporting
Align with Sales, Scheduling and Production Planning to help manage demand whilst maintaining customer relationships
The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
What You Will Need
- Drivers licence/reliable transport
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role (customer service/admin)
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
- Strong reasoning and decision making skills
- Ability to pass a PEM/D&A;
