About the role
ALS Tribology welcomes two Laboratory Technicians to support scientific testing and data‑driven insights in Tribology.
While formal qualifications such as a relevant TAFE Certificate or Diploma in laboratory skills are required, we are ready to train you if you bring a willingness to learn. You'll receive extensive training on instrumentation and procedures, and you'll be rewarded with development opportunities to succeed in a career in Tribology.
Responsibilities
* Perform chemical and physical testing of oil, fuel and coolant samples.
* Enter, update, and maintain sample and test data.
* Undertake activities and responsibilities as instructed by the Laboratory Manager.
About you
* Some previous experience in a commercial laboratory or production industry is highly regarded.
* Positive work attitude and a great team player.
* Confident communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to quickly reorganise priorities.
* Detail‑oriented, diligent data handling and intermediate MS Office skills.
This is a Full‑time role, Monday to Friday.
