We are on the lookout for a Trainee Strata Manager to join our ACEConsulting Branch located in the seaside suburb of Braeside. This role is integral to our core business of delivering professional strata management services to our clients. Supported by a customer care team and centres of expertise, we work as one team to deliver value to our customers. At ACE we pride ourselves on being the best in the industry, and we also know how important it is to have some fun along the way.
Initially this role will be for a fixed term contract of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a property portfolio, build relationships, and be a trusted advisor in all things strata.
- Facilitate and attend AGM’s and other meetings and provide advice as required.
- Maintain governance of the Owners Corporation in line with the Owners Corporation Act.
- Interpret legislation and assist in the enforcement of by-laws.
- Maintain insurance and coordinate repairs and maintenance and building compliance requirements.
- Effectively complete tasks within the strata operations workflow.
- Utilise systems and databases to create and/or manage documentation.
- Oversee preparation of budgets, agendas, and minutes with support from other departments.
- Prepare and update meeting records and documents such as minutes and agendas using a digital document transaction system.
About you / Qualifications
- You are a true problem solver and thrive with delivering solutions.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM/Document management systems (desirable; training available for the right candidate).
- Experience in property management, strata/body corporate, or real estate is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
