Job Description

We are seeking an expert in risk evaluation and investment analysis across insurance, superannuation, pensions, and related financial sectors. Key responsibilities include:

1. Analysing complex financial challenges and developing innovative policy frameworks with risk evaluation and investment analysis.
">
2. Providing high-quality and timely investment advisory support to clients.
">
3. Reviewing and assessing financial forecasts for general insurers, financial institutions, government bodies, and other entities.
">
4. Collaborating with management and clients to identify the specific topic or area for review or investigation.
">
5. Determining the types of data required and selecting the appropriate methods for its collection and analysis.
">
6. Developing and refining actuarial models using experimental data in R and Python to keep insurance and asset market data current on the technology platform.
">
7. Applying quantitative analysis techniques to client data to design algorithms and generate meaningful statistics that reveal and interpret key trends and patterns.
">
8. Applying actuarial expertise to conduct cash flow analysis and scenario testing as required.

* Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification with specialization in Economics. They should also possess strong technical skills and the ability to develop logical solutions to new problems.

A self-motivated individual with a desire to achieve continuous improvement and adaptable and flexible attitude to cope with competing priorities whilst working to tight timeframes is essential for this role.
