Ensuring the integrity and safety of rail networks is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and monitor the execution of maintenance plans to ensure asset safety and efficiency.
* Exercise delegated engineering authority to make decisions regarding civil asset integrity.
* Assess defect management conducted by maintenance teams to ensure compliance with contractual and industry standards.
This position involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain site safety, quality, and environmental controls while minimizing risks to health and safety.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience, preferably with Chartered Engineering Status. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in railway engineering is required.
