Key Responsibilities
As a Technician (Asset Management), you will support the Asset Management team by providing technical data management, advice, and support to manage the lifecycle of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) road assets effectively.
Accountabilities Include
Build, manage, and support Road Infrastructure Asset Management systems and datasets.
Provide technical services supporting decision-making in asset management and design.
Collect, enter, validate, and improve road infrastructure data.
Analyze and report on asset management information for various clients.
Support and train clients in system use and application.
Provide accurate information and advice to stakeholders.
Present information in various formats to meet client needs.
Comply with WH&S Act, regulations, and departmental policies.
Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions
Associate Degree in Engineering (Civil), Surveying, GIS, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Current Class ‘C’ Drivers Licence.
Requirements of the Role
Understanding of complex engineering drawings related to road infrastructure.
Knowledge of construction and lifecycle of road infrastructure components.
Experience with databases focusing on infrastructure management.
Efficiency in tasks through data and automation.
Persistence and prioritization skills.
Critical analysis and sound judgment in decision-making.
