Culinary Team Member
We are seeking a skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team.
* Assist with the training and development of junior staff
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Develop strong relationships with colleagues across all departments
* Take charge of shifts and ensure quality standards are met when senior staff are offsite
* Fully adhere to prescribed policies and food safety protocols
* Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of prepared dishes
About you:
* 2+ years' experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment
* Proficiency in both Modern Australian and Classic European cuisine is preferred
* Commercial Cookery certificate or higher
* HACCP & local Food Safety Handling knowledge
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with ability to train junior staff and run kitchen sections
* Flexibility to work varied schedules, including night shifts and weekends
* Well-developed computer skills, particularly in MS Office
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player
