Description
The Retail Sales Keyholder is one step up from entry level and performs the same general duties as those of retail staff but possesses a higher level of responsibility.
Responsibilities
Assist and inform customersAccurately ring up purchasesMaintain awareness of current promotions and advertisementsOpen and close store, including closing out the register; carry keys; disarm and arm alarm systemReceive and stock merchandiseMaintains all areas of the store, including thoughtful merchandising, recovery, and cleaningProtect company assets through loss prevention techniquesMonitor and assist cashiers and other staff as neededAssist with training and supporting new employeesHandle managerial tasks when manager and assistant manager are unavailable.Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years retail sales experienceBasic mathematical skillsAbility to communicate and relate positively with a variety of peopleInterest in retailSelf-starter with willingness to learnReliable, responsible, and trustworthy

Expect to lift up to 25 lbs. Some other physical demands can come from continuous cash register work, sales floor work, and events work.
