The successful applicant will be looking at a 38-hour roster, working a variety of shifts

The role will include:
* Prepare, cook and serve general and specialized meals for patrons according to menu guidelines and recipes in accordance with the Supporters Clubs Service Standards.
* Assist and supervise kitchen staff under direction from the Head Chef.
* Assist with stock management, wastage of products and stock takes as required.
* Liaise with the Head Chef on a daily basis on weekly requirements, menu planning, maintaining & meeting departmental budgets and other duties.
* Ensure the work environment complies with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.

The successful applicants will be reliable, be energetic, have a 'can do' attitude, keen to join an amazing and fun team and can keep a smile on their face while working at a fast pace.
Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen operation as a Chef will be a major advantage to your application. Must have or be able to obtain a Food Safety Supervisors certificate (HACCP).
As a Sous Chef here with us at the Vikings, it is a requirement to ensure hygiene standards and cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen, adherence to all policies and procedures ensuring the highest standards are maintained to provide members and guests with consistent service quality, with emphasis on customer service, food quality, presentation, health, hygiene, sanitation and safety.
