Job Description
The Marketing Specialist – Content plays a pivotal role in bringing the bank's brand purpose to life through compelling, audience-led storytelling. Sitting within the Content Marketing team (a high-performing in-house agency) this role is responsible for creating clear, engaging, and on-brand content across a diverse range of formats and channels. By producing content that builds trust, inspires action, and enhances the member experience, this specialist contributes directly to business growth and brand affinity.
This role will work with the broader Marketing team and coordinate with other departments in Beyond Bank to ensure that the brand is consistently represented.
In this role, you will
* Create high-quality content that communicates the brand's voice and values effectively across channels, including web, email, collateral, video scripts, and articles
* Work closely with the Marketing Managers, specialists, and designer to develop content that enhances cross-channel storytelling
* Translate briefs, triaged by the Marketing Manager – Content, and Member insights into clear, engaging messaging that meets business objectives
* Align content deliverables with channel performance data and conversion goals
* Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to legal and compliance requirements
* Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and compliance through effective content workflows and review processes.
* Work collaboratively within the Content Marketing and broader Marketing teams to foster a positive team culture and support creative excellence.
Qualifications
About you
You're a skilled marketing professional with a passion for crafting compelling content and supporting brand growth. With a solid foundation in marketing or communications, you bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. You're comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and you thrive on using data, insights, and creativity to deliver meaningful results. Experience in financial services or agency environments is a bonus but not essential.
Key Things We're Looking For
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
* 3+ years' experience in marketing, content, or brand-focused roles
* Strong communication, organisation, and project management abilities
* Ability to produce high‑quality work across multiple projects simultaneously
* Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and market research techniques
* Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset
