Desired Skills and Experience
The Hutchins School is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Child Care Assistants to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team.
Our OSHC program provides a safe, engaging and play-based environment for children before and after school, and during school holidays. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you’ll help deliver fun, inclusive programs that support children’s confidence, independence and wellbeing.
About the role
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging play-based activities
* Supervise children in group settings, including excursions
* Assist with daily routines, including meals and hygiene
* Build positive relationships with children, families and staff
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment
About you
* You enjoy working with and engaging young children
* You work well in a small team and can successfully follow established procedures
* You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current First Aid qualification
* You are positive, reliable and proactive
Additional experience we value
* Experience working with children
* Relevant qualification (or working towards) in education or care
* Knowledge of OSHC or early childhood settings
