About the Role:

The Senior Family Clinician is a senior leadership role within the headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) Program, based in the Continuing Care Team (CCT). This role provides clinical leadership, oversight and coordination of high-quality, family-focused care for young people aged 12–25 experiencing, or at risk of, first episode psychosis.

Working within the hEPP platform and EPPIC model of care, you will deliver and shape evidence-based, recovery-oriented and youth-friendly interventions that support both young people and their families/carers.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to clinicians across a multidisciplinary team, working closely with the CCT Team Leader and Clinical Lead. The role includes contributing to service development, supporting innovative clinical practice, and participating in clinical and caseload reviews to ensure safe, effective and best-practice care.

The hEP program delivers timely, accessible and phase-appropriate early psychosis care, with a strong focus on early intervention, recovery, relapse prevention and long-term self-management. The Continuing Care Team is a community-based service offering assertive outreach and intensive case management for up to five years, in line with Australian Clinical Guidelines for Early Psychosis.

Experience Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience of working within a mental health service, preferably with young people, families/significant others, and their networks.
* Experience in engaging and delivering different family interventions to young people, families/significant others, and networks.
* Experience in relevant clinical leadership roles, including the provision of clinical supervision, contributing to staff appraisals, and assisting in the development and implementation of professional development programs.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

* Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
* Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
* Applicants must hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines:
* Psychology – registration with AHPRA
* Social Work
* Occupational Therapy – registration with AHPRA
* Nursing – must be a Registered Nurse with Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and registration with AHPRA
