The Arranger/Conductor is responsible for:
Arranging Funerals
- Identify service requirements with sensitivity to client grief, beliefs, traditions, rituals and special requests
- Maintain knowledge of products and services and offer these to satisfy funeral service needs
- Develop and communicate the funeral plan to the client
- Complete documentation, establish a client contract and explain costs and payment terms
- Liaise with service providers, such as clergy, florist, newspapers and other suppliers
- Respond to client requests, concerns, complaints and unforeseen circumstances
Conducting Funerals
- Prepare, direct, coordinate and monitor all aspects of the funeral aligned to the funeral plan and InvoCare policies and quality standards
- Conduct procedures with client sensitivity (grief, beliefs, traditions/rituals, requests)
- Be familiar with and check accuracy of all documentation for burials and cremations.
- Coordinate, instruct and monitor the funeral team throughout the funeral process
- Monitor vehicle and equipment, use, cleanliness and needs
- Ensure the safety of the funeral team, family and guests is assessed and risk plans implemented
