We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our pre-construction team. Based in Bunbury WA this is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to work with a small team and contribute directly to the company's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end estimating for commercial construction projects
* Complete accurate measurements and material take-offs
* Obtain subcontractor quotes and review scopes and submissions
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and contractual documentation
* Identify commercial risks and value-engineering opportunities
* Prepare accurate cost plans, BOQs, tender programmes and detailed responses to tender requests
* Negotiate subcontractor packages and ensure seamless handover to the production team
* System administration of tendering software
* Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes
About You
* Australian work rights are required for this position
* Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial construction
* Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
* Strong understanding of Australian construction methods and contracts
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to manage multiple tenders concurrently and meet deadlines
* High level of accuracy, commercial acumen, and attention to detail
* Relevant construction qualification or trade (preferred)
