Our company provides security services that include CCTV/Alarm Installation, 24/7 Monitoring, Patrols (including Alarm Responses, Open/Close of Sites and Night Visits/Staff Escorts), Cash-In-Transit and Security Personnel (including Static Guards and Crowd Controllers).
We are looking for ONE Security Guard to join our small team of professionals, in providing security at all of our sites which include:
- Licensed Venues
- Shopping Centres
- Government Sites
- Community Events
- Construction, Development and Building Projects
- NSW 1A - Security License
- NSW Drivers License
- Senior First Aid Certificate - or able to renew/acquire within the first 30-days of employment
- RSA - or able to renew/acquire within the first 30-days of employment
Skillsets and qualities required at Region Security include:
- Excellent report writing and observational skills
- Ability to learn and navigate various software programs at a high-level - including Apple, Windows and Android
- Physically fit (required to undertake foot patrols for extended periods)
- Effective communication skills (including conflict resolution)
- Presentation is skilled, neat and excellent hygiene
- Teamwork - able to provide support for fellow staff members and site personnel
- Considerate, caring and respectful to all persons
- Clear understanding of relevant legislation (including Security Industry Act, Inclosed Lands Protection Act, Liquor Act, Privacy Act and Work Health and Safety)
- Flexibility with capacity to assist fellow staff members when taking leave
- Security Industry Experience
- Other industry experience where an example of conflict resolution was undertaken
