About the Role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing tech direction, leadership and mentorship to engineers to design, develop, and maintain world-class software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritise and deliver software features, review code, and provide feedback to other developers. Ensuring the quality of software products and mentoring junior developers are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate peer reviews and testing standards
* Ensure individual and team compliance with company values, policies and procedures and all applicable external laws and regulations
* Create a team culture that elicits a high-performing team and a fun working environment

What We're Looking For
* Experience in tech leadership, mentoring and coaching developers
* Extensive experience building large scale websites (consumer preferred)
* Experience in .NET and its frameworks
* Experience in a cloud environment
* Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
* Experience in microservices architecture
* Experience in an agile working environment
* Experience working in large scale projects and heavy traffic platforms
* Experience with test automation
