About The Role

Duties

* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve commercial targets within defined verticals or geographies
* Lead client engagement from initial contact through to successful deal closure and implementation
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximise wallet share
* Collaborate with internal commercial, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless customer delivery
* Provide input into pricing and contract negotiations to support sustainable growth
* Track and manage a robust sales pipeline including short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities
* Deliver accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting
* Represent the organisation at industry events and client meetings
Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related sectors (Experience in contract logistics will be highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of contract logistics and proven success in developing opportunities in this space
* Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build a pipeline, and achieve or exceed sales targets
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
* Strategic thinker with sound commercial judgment and the ability to work autonomously
* Comfortable with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
* Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
* Willingness to travel to meet with clients and partners as needed
