About the Role
I'm seeking a Senior Engineer to be responsible for preliminary design, plant performance estimates, electrical and SCADA design and review, staying informed about suppliers and equipment developments, writing and managing technical specifications, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on technical and design matters, overseeing EPC contractors and sub-contracts, assistance with general technical and engineering tasks.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead technical design and reviews for BESS / PV projects.
Negotiate technical scopes of work and contracts.
Manage technical specifications and contracts to ensure best practices and standards.
Supervise consultants, contractors, and site audits during construction.
Identify and assess new renewable energy sites, considering environmental and social impacts.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and minimize technical risks.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Design experience in PV plants, substations, BESS or other relevant electrical infrastructure projects
PVSyst / AutoCad Experience
Electrical SLDs, protection, communications, SCADA and metering knowledge
Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders
Understanding of EPC / consultancy contracts
Negotiation skills would be valuable
