What we're looking for:
We're seeking an experienced and safety-focused CO Crane Operator to join our team on a FIFO roster. This role suits someone who has worked across shutdowns and maintenance in mining or construction environments and is confident operating in high-risk, fast-paced site conditions.
You bring a minimum of five years' experience in FIFO operations, with a strong understanding of rigging practices and crane operations. You take pride in your work, follow procedures, and contribute to a team that gets the job done safely and efficiently.
What you'll bring to the team:
You're reliable, hands-on, and safety-driven, with the ability to work well in remote environments. You'll also bring:
* HR Driver's Licence (essential)
* Working at Heights (within 2 years)
* National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
* Proven FIFO experience in mining, shutdowns, or maintenance
Highly regarded:
* Experience operating Franna and all‐terrain cranes (e.g. MAC25, LTM, ATF, GMK series)
* HC/MC Licence
* Advanced Rigging, Forklift or EWP tickets
* BHP WAIO inductions
You're a team player who communicates well, respects others, and maintains a strong focus on safety, quality, and getting the job done right.
What you'll be doing:
* Operating cranes across shutdown and maintenance works
* Performing lifting activities in line with site procedures and safety standards
* Supporting rigging tasks where required
* Working across various WA sites on an 8:6 FIFO roster (dayshift, with nightshift as required)
* Contributing to a strong safety culture and high-performing crew
