**The Opportunity**
The Sales Coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing a range of fresh food products and sales channels to ensure we maximise sales opportunities, through ensuring a sustainable balance of availability and pricing. You will be liaising with clients and operations to ensure projected supply is met, taking into account all changes and challenges that impact supply and delivery of fresh produce.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Commercial sales planning, allocation, and movement of designated total company crop/products to agreed channels and strategies to optimise returns;
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly reporting and forecasting activities;
- Manage relationships and information flows with wholesale buyers, distributors, and retailers;
- Maintain active knowledge of supply, price, quality and opportunities within market, and share with relevant teams and individuals internally;
- Developing strong internal relationships with farming, packhouse, logistics, and supply chain teams;
- Develop, record and monitor promotional activity with key customers;
- Negotiate business sales supply agreements in line with agreed budget and set pricing parameters;
- Be contactable 24 hours per day as necessary to answer urgent internal and external calls.
**Your Experience**
As a successful fresh produce Sales Coordinator, you will have a range of key attributes and experience that will include:
- Previous experience in sales or supply chain-based functions, ideally in fresh produce
- Enjoy working under pressure in a small team
- Have exceptional people skills and a commercial aptitude
- Have strong administrative skills, including forecasting and financial experience
- Enjoy working hard, be action oriented and full of energy
- Be highly effective in the use of your time
- Be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
