MSS Security is seeking an Aviation Security Supervisor to join our team at Ballina Airport. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with strong aviation security knowledge and the ability to oversee daily screening operations while supporting and guiding Aviation Protection Officers on shift. Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee the daily operation of the aviation screening point, ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations. Monitor the floor and maintain situational awareness of passenger flow, staffing and screening performance. Act as the escalation point for Aviation Protection Officers when operational, security or customer service issues arise. Manage Aviation Protection Officers performance and address attendance matters. Review and approve staff timesheets in accordance with rostering requirements. Support, mentor, and guide Aviation Protection Officers to maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance. Ideal candidates will have: Previous experience as an Aviation Protection Officer (highly desirable). Previous experience leading or supervising staff. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Requirements: Full Australian working rights. Ability to obtain an ASIC. Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing). Valid NSW Security licence (unarmed). Certificate II in TSP (or willing to obtain).
