Job Title: Policy Development Coordinator
About the Role:
The Policy Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Senior Project Officer and Manager of the WDVCAP Unit in developing domestic and family violence policy. This includes working closely with providers to create service agreements that meet the needs of those affected by domestic and family violence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development of domestic and family violence policy, ensuring it is informed by best practice and expert advice.
* Work collaboratively with WDVCAS providers to negotiate and develop service agreements that meet the needs of clients.
* Provide professional support to the team, including research, data analysis, and communication.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in a relevant field, such as social work, law, or public health.
* Experience working in a policy or project management role, preferably in the sector of domestic and family violence.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
