About This Opportunity
This is an exciting role for a dynamic leader who can make an impact at one of Tasmania's premier sports and event venues. The job involves overseeing daily operations, managing operational elements, and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee delivery of all contracted events
* Manage operational elements including security, ticketing, customer service, food and beverage, and digital requirements
* Develop and implement the venue security plan and security risk assessments
* Lead the event estimate and event settlement processes
* Drive financial performance through effective budget and expense management
* Assume various roles as required including Venue Manager, Deputy, and Chief Warden
Key Requirements:
* High level of experience in providing optimal customer service outcomes
* Experience in managing or delivering operations of a major venue or facility at a senior level
* Familiarity with large crowd capacities and the intricacies of multiple activations
* Sound understanding of client and customer needs within the sporting environment
* Ability to interpret and deliver strategic and operational objectives
