ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join us in Bendigo. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with business owners and management teams, gain exposure to exciting industries, and build a rewarding career in public practice or beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with managing a portfolio of clients, delivering quality tax and business advisory services.
- Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and FBT for small businesses and fast growing multinational groups.
- Provide CFO-style insights and reporting to help clients make better decisions.
- Work directly with business owners and management teams.
- Mentor and support junior staff where required.
ABOUT YOU
- A qualified accountant with 5+ years’ experience in public practice.
- An expert in Xero with a passion for cloud-based solutions.
- Equipped with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Known for attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- A collaborative team player who is dependable and enthusiastic.
- Keen to learn, grow and assist our business clients to succeed.
- Interested in the role of technology and AI in shaping the future of accounting.
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident (we cannot accept visa applicants).
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $90,000 – $110,000 package (commensurate with experience)
