We are partnering with a federal government client to engage an experienced APS5 Administration Support Officer. This position supports complex procurement and contract management processes and would suit an individual with a strong administrative background and familiarity with Whole-of-Government (WoG) ICT sourcing frameworks.
Your new role
In this dynamic position, you will:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support for government ICT procurement activities, including the management of Panels, Marketplaces and Single Seller Arrangements
* Assist with financial administration, such as processing purchase orders, tracking expenditure, reconciling payments and supporting budgeting activities
* Prepare and maintain documentation including contract registers, variation letters, records of decision, and meeting minutes
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to support compliance with procurement procedures and financial frameworks
* Monitor inboxes, respond to queries and coordinate team activities to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of administrative services
* Support reporting, governance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
* A sound understanding of Commonwealth procurement processes and WoG ICT sourcing mechanisms
* Experience supporting contract and financial administration in a government context
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence and liaise with stakeholders effectively
* High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial or procurement systems such as SAP, TechOne or similar
