Job Title: Civil Site Engineer (Structures)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Engineer (Structures) to join our team in Brisbane and greater QLD region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with experience in road infrastructure construction. They should possess excellent technical skills, including knowledge of AS2124 General Conditions of Contract and Transport and Main Roads' policies, standards, and specifications.

* Contribute to the effective management of infrastructure projects in accordance with designated time, cost, and quality objectives.
* Monitor and report on progress, foreseeing problems and implementing corrective action to maintain objectives.
* Maintain project quality standards in consultation with clients, and monitor the quality of project inputs.
* Assist with project budgets, cash flows, and funding arrangements.
* Assist with project and resource scheduling.
* Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, free from discrimination and harassment by working in accordance with legislative requirements, the Code of Conduct, and departmental human resource policies, including the Workplace Health and Safety requirements.


The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

* Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust).
* Possession of an RPEQ Registration is highly desirable.

Candidates must also possess at least 5 years prior civil roads infrastructure construction experience with any Australian State Government Road Authority, preferably the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.

Desirable Experience includes knowledge of bridge design, construction, maintenance, and materials, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, including the ability to establish good working relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels, and deal with situations requiring consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
