ADD VALUE – THE ROLEThis position assists the Road Vegetation team with maintenance and management of vegetation in road reserves and other operational land across the Local Government Area. You will perform roadside slashing, chemical vegetation management, tree maintenance and removal, snipping, mowing, and general labouring tasks. The role requires preparation and maintenance of vehicles and tools, planning work, and use of mobile technology.
QUALIFICATIONSCertificate III in Horticulture or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in roadside vegetation management. You must be willing to obtain required certifications under Council's Learning & Development Protocol.
Position: Permanent, full‐time. Working hours: 76 hours per fortnight. The team operates a 9‐day fortnight schedule.
Remuneration: Grade5 of Council's Salary System Protocol, base salary $2,242 – $2,522 per fortnight plus superannuation.
