Southern Grampians Shire Council are recruiting for a Gardener to join our Parks & Gardens team, working within the parks and streetscapes of our Shire.
This role will see you working closely with the team, maintaining and improving the horticultural assets in parks, gardens and reserves.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* All aspects of garden maintenance including mowing, weeding, spraying, mulching, pruning, planting and watering.
* Horticultural improvement works, machine operations and monitoring of irrigation.
* Ensuring all work is accurately recorded using digital systems.
* Other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Skills and qualifications required:
* Experience working in horticulture or a similar environment
* Cert III Horticulture (Desirable)
* Current Victorian Drivers Licence (MR Desirable)
* Chemical Certificate (Desirable)
* Traffic Management (Desirable)
* First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
* Good communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills and team orientated
