Storeperson – Electrical Wholesaling
Are you organised, reliable, and looking to be part of a fast-paced team in the electrical industry? We are seeking a motivated Warehouse/Storeperson to join our growing electrical wholesaling business.
About the Role:
As a Storeperson, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and trade counter. Your responsibilities will include:
* Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
* Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
* Assisting trade counter staff and customers when required
* Maintaining inventory correctly and accurately
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised warehouse
* Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
* Answering phones
* Oversee daily inventory management and stock control processes.
* Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and audits.
* Analyse inventory data to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
* Develop and implement inventory policies, procedures, and systems.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in warehousing, stores, or logistics (electrical wholesaling experience highly regarded but not essential)
* A team player with strong attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational skills
* A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Computer literacy is a must
* Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a similar role.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems/ERP software.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
