This role is a joint finance role over 2 business entities - Hardwood Solutions Sawmill t/as AAA Timber & Hardware and RVT Group Australia. Both entities are in the same location.
AAA Timber & Hardware is a Builders outlet for Constructions materials and Hardware in Sumner Park. A hardwood specialist and a growing team that offers genuine and friendly customer service to the construction industry.

Your Role:
As the Finance/Accounts Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end control, reporting, and reconciliation of results over both entities. The nature of the role is to drive continual improvement and work with senior management to enhance the finance function for our customers, internal stakeholders and for management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes including AR, AP and bank reconciliation
Manage and oversee timely and accurate month-end completion
Perform comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting and modelling of company performance on a monthly basis
Coordinate the annual tax return process and liaise with external advisors
Manage compliance (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax)
Management of banking, treasury and taxation functions with stakeholders
Monitoring and management of payroll function across the Group
Ensure that systems and processes are optimised, efficient and appropriate
Review of transactional reports and processes such as weekly payroll, weekly payment runs, debtor reports and the like
Mentor and manage the accounts team
Our Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
CA / CPA Qualification
Minimum of 5 years experience in financial accounting
Outstanding time management, organisation and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
