Mor-Fab Engineering Pty Ltd, a leading engineering firm in Tullamarine, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Stainless steel pipework fitter to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is essential in supporting our company's commitment to providing high-quality engineering solutions to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling stainless steel pipes and fittings to precise specifications.
Performing welding and joining of stainless steel pipework to the highest standards.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the installation and fabrication process.
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Collaborating with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements and streamlining workflows.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a stainless steel pipework fitter, preferably in the Trades & Services industry.
Strong understanding of stainless steel fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and pipe fitting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in stainless steel fabrication or a related field.
