About the Role
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of patient care while receiving structured supervision.
* They will also participate in rotations through various clinical streams, including aged care, gastro, neuro, and rehabilitation, with opportunities to work with outpatients.
Requirements
* A qualification in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Speech Pathology Australia is required.
* Postgraduate experience and core competency skills in managing patients with dysphagia and communication disorders are essential.
* The ideal candidate will possess high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
* Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and exercise independent professional judgement is crucial.
* Computer skills and capacity to use health information systems are necessary.
