Job Description
The M&A Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling for potential mergers and acquisitions.Support due diligence processes and provide detailed reports on findings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic opportunities.Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support decision-making.Assist in the preparation of transaction documents and agreements.Maintain accurate records of financial data and project progress.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful M&A Analyst should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Knowledge of the retail industry is highly regarded.Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel and financial analysis tools.
