his is an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, drive financial insights, and support strategic decision-making across the business.Your Impact: * Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and decision support.
* Deliver timely and concise performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities.
* Support the Finance Manager in identifying performance gaps and implementing plans with business partners to close them * Assist in Integrated Business Planning with accurate demand for both WA & SA regions.
* Oversee month-end processes across sales, logistics, overheads, and operations.
* Assist in cost reduction initiatives and contribute to the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) framework and provide financial modelling / support on the Welshpool factory upgrade business case.
* Conduct semi-annual stock takes at CSR-operated stores in Karratha and Derby, with travel commitments of up to four weeks per year.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and understand over & unders in accruals and provisions.
* Assist Finance manager with budgets & forecasts preparation, and manage capital expenditure requests, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with corporate policies and Australian accounting standards.
* Drive process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Opportunity to travel – Approximately four weeks of travel per year to CSR sites, including Karratha and Derby.What You Bring: * CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
* 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a commercial setting.
* Strong financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP/Microsoft systems (preferred).
* Experience in manufacturing, building, or construction industries (preferred).
* A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
* Ability to think creatively, manage risks, and analyze complex financial data.
