Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager (APAC) based in Sydney to support our growing team in the Asia-Pacific region. This role will shape and execute our people strategy locally while ensuring smooth HR and office operations.
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), responsibilities include talent acquisition, culture & employee relations, learning and development, total rewards, office administration, and vendor management. You will be a trusted partner to employees across APAC and a champion of our culture, values, and employee experience.
Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance: Lead day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global policies. Advise on performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and leave management. Administer local compensation and benefits programs aligned with market practices. Develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Track and analyze HR metrics for continuous improvement. Maintain accurate employee records in accordance with labor laws. Employee Experience & Culture Oversee onboarding, engagement, and development initiatives. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. Serve as a cultural ambassador within the region. Coordinate internal events and activities to boost morale. Talent Acquisition Partner with global Talent Acquisition team for requirement gathering. Support full-cycle hiring for regional needs. Office Management & Administration Manage daily office operations, facilities, supplies, and support services. Oversee office vendors, contractors, and related services. Coordinate travel, events, and catering. Global & Regional Alignment Act as a liaison between APAC and global HR teams. Share regional insights to help shape global HR strategies. Skills & Experience At least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth setting. Discreet handling of confidential information. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) preferred. Experience supporting regional or global workforce is a plus.
