Key Strategic Asset Manager Role
This position is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the strategic management of Council's assets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all classes of Council assets, in accordance with leading practice principles and the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Framework.
* This includes the development and implementation of an Asset Management Framework, system of management, and processes and procedures that are based on best practice principles.
* The role also involves the development, implementation and periodic review of a Council-wide Asset Management Policy, Asset Management Strategy, and Strategic Asset Management Plan.
* The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in undertaking change management processes, and a demonstrated understanding and experience in asset management compliance accreditation and ISO 55000.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Asset Management or similar discipline.
* Relevant industry experience in the strategic management of major engineering assets and delivery of complex and extensive asset related projects.
* Class C NSW Driver's Licence.
