Support Staff
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a dishwasher and kitchen assistant on weekends and some weekdays.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, experience in basic kitchen preparation such as washing and peeling vegetables, using a sous vide machine, and rotating use by dates on cool room produce.
They must also be able to assist chefs with preparation of service set up and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Casual positions are available, and immediate start is possible for the right person. Preference is given to applicants with hospitality experience.
Shifts will be a mix of midweek days, evenings, and weekends due to being our busiest times.
Own transport is essential as public transport is limited in the area.
Responsibilities:
* Assist chefs with meal preparation and presentation.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
* Rotate use by dates on cool room produce.
* Wash and peel vegetables, fruits, etc.
* Operate a sous vide machine.
Requirements:
* Good communication skills.
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Reliable and punctual attendance.
