We are a horticultural company that grows, packs and distributes potatoes and onions, with our main offices, production packing and dispatch facilities located in Virginia and Hillston, NSW.
**The Position**
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer within a busy and professional HR Team the Payroll Officer is responsible for assisting with the weekly payroll process. You will be part of an energetic team that processes a weekly payroll of 850+ staff and all related payroll functions. You will enjoy working with payroll and HRIS systems and be part of a HR team that partners with all sectors of the business to provide exceptional HR/Payroll support.
**Your duties will include**:
- Assist with the processing of the weekly payroll
- Data entry and following up on exceptions
- Payroll audits and compliance checks
- Processing and costing labour hire invoices
- HR Metrics, wage and costing reporting
**About You**
- ** Preferred payroll experience, however, this position offers the opportunity for someone with sound administration and numerical skills looking to gain payroll experience**:
- Quick learner and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Chris21 and Kronos experience (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
