Here's a snapshot of the Head of Procurement's responsbilities
Endeavour Group Procurement lead the Procurement of all Non Trade Goods and Services. We are looking for a new leader to lead the Procurement function to continue to partner with our business in procuring all our Non Trade Goods and Services. As Head of Procurement you will lead the Procurement team, setting the direction and strategy of Procurement, creating value, delivering social outcomes, ensuring we do things in a responsible way.
1. Building organisational procurement capability within Procurement Category Management, Governance, Operations and Technology, in order to support execution of the group-wide business strategy and Optimisation programs.
2. Develop a Procurement cost optimisation framework to drive incremental benefit
3. Developing and executing Category Strategies with key stakeholders across Endeavour.
4. Ownership of Procurement Spend Management systems, focusing on simplification, improved user experience and increased utilisation. Deploying additional functionality, enhancing supplier content, creating a suite of dashboards and reporting for spend, value creation and ESG targets.
5. Ownership of Endeavour’s Travel and Fleet program, including ownership of respective policies.
6. Develop a program of work to support delivery of Endeavours Sustainability Strategy working with key stakeholders and functions
7. Develop agile and pragmatic processes and policies to ensure appropriate governance and controls whilst supporting innovation and re-engineering of the Procurement supply chains
8. Creating an appropriate framework to manage the quality of all non-trade goods procured, both domestically and internationally.
9. Bringing innovation to and re-engineering of the Procurement supply chains in order to reduce overall costs to the business.
10. Delivering annual revenue, cost reduction, cost avoidance, working capital and continuous improvement targets.

You will be a people leader who gets excited about shaping a high-performing and customer-first culture, bringing people on the journey through co-creation and enable horizontal leadership through a flexible teamwork approach to all tasks and responsibilities in addition;
11. Minimum 15 years experience in a similar procurement role and at a senior leadership level
12. Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
13. Have relevant extensive industry experiences at a senior leadership level
14. Professional accreditation or qualification, such as MCIPS or relevant degrees
15. Negotiated major strategic and complex deals, to deliver significant commercial and customer first outcomes
16. Sound appreciation of category management principles and processes, with an understanding of contract law
17. Proven experience in managing significant dollar spend portfolio’s across large organisations and geographies.
18. Proven track record in delivering significant and sustainable EBITDA benefits year on year
19. Ability to manage cross functional teams and manage large stakeholder groups.
